Party Psychic Sherrie Lynne: About Sherrie Lynne

About Sherrie Lynne

Sherrie Lynne is a rare combination of psychic and entertainer. Working in her craft for over 20 years, she has inspired and amazed thousands of people -- from celebrities and CEOs to families and politicians -- in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.

Sherrie comes from a family of psychics. Her mother, sister and grandmother all have the gift of sight. She grew up reading about Edgar Cayce and wrote school papers on psychic phenomenon. She learned to open up her awareness of Spirit and Energy, and mastered the art of reading tarot cards, palms, stones, photographs, jewelry and other personal items.

“Psychic readings can, and should be freeing,” says Sherrie. “The image of an old crone sitting in a dark corner and warning of grave danger is a nasty old stereotype. Readings should be fun -- you should walk away feeling optimistic and good about yourself.

“Sometimes I recommend a theme reading for a party. If there’s a Wall Street crowd, I’ll read wallets. If I’m working at a department store, I may read shoes. I’ll engage people’s minds with something light and fun, while at the same time offering insights and predictions that touch their hearts.

“I do a lot of events where a group of people -- for example, women at a bridal shower, teenage girls at a sweet sixteen, young couples at a nightclub -- all sit together and listen to each other’s readings. It doesn’t take long before everyone is energized -- leaning in, laughing, throwing out comments -- and eager for their own turn.

“I want people to leave their reading inspired and uplifted. That’s why I give every client a personal message that I write on a specially-designed tarot card.”

Sherrie’s unique brand of psychic entertainment has received national attention. When she was the house psychic at an Upper East Side nightclub, she was featured in The New York Times and appeared on Rolanda Watt’s national talk show.

Sherrie has a notebook filled with glowing testimonials from such corporate clients as WEtv, WNYC Public Radio, Bloomingdales, Teen Vogue, The Advertising Council, Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Dumbo Improvement District.

Along with being an accomplished psychic, Sherrie is also a singer-songwriter. She is currently writing a new show called “The Singing Psychic.”
